Whether you stay at our campsite Les Hautes Prairies in Lourmarin or at our campsite L’Étang de la Bonde in Sannes, you will find a multitude of hiking trails suitable for all levels.
Here is our selection of hiking Luberon and some ideas for unusual trends.
OUR SELECTION OF LUBERON HIKING
Le Sentier des Ocres
From Roussillon, go to the discovery of the Sentier des Ocres. Two routes are proposed on the site. These courses are spectacular, and will make you discover amazing geological formations of ochre, with flamboyant colors ranging from yellow to bright red.

L’Étang de la Bonde
Located in Sannes, on the edge of our campsite l’Étang de la Bonde, a short hike around the pond offers you magnificent views of the turquoise water. It is a perfect place for a quiet walk with the family, a picnic break in the middle of nature or a good meal in our snack located on the edge of the pond.

Les Moulins de Véroncle
The Moulins de Véroncle hike in the heart of the Monts de Vaucluse takes you to discover the old mills that line the watercourse of Véroncle. When you come across the old mills, you will find explanatory panels that help you understand the role and operation of the mills that were once used to produce flour.

Saignon : Le chemin de la Gardette
This route takes you through varied landscapes, from lavender fields to oak forests and spectacular rock formations.

Loop
Pay attention to the pastoral area: in the presence of protection dogs you should not pet or threaten them. You must stop and then wait patiently for the end of “control” before calmly resuming the path by bypassing as much as possible the herd. Preferably do not bring your dog and if not, keep it on a leash.
Also pay attention to the hives installed on the plateau of Claparèdes
Vallon de l’Aigue brun
The Valley of the Brown Eagle or rather the «Canyon Messinien» is a hike that follows the course of a river and crosses impressive gorges.
It is a perfect route for hikers who like to be in the heart of nature, with possibilities for swimming in summer.

Le Colorado Provençal
The Colorado Provençal in Rustrel is one of the most famous hikes in the Luberon thanks to its landscapes reminiscent of American parks. The rock formations and bright colors of this site make it a unique hike in France.
