CAMPASUN - The markets of Fréjus / Saint-Aygulf

The markets of Fréjus / Saint-Aygulf

Published on 18/11/2024 by CAMPASUN

Traditional markets

There are eight traditional markets in Fréjus every morning throughout the year.

Come to Fréjus-plage every Sunday. You’ll find the big weekly market on Place de la République, Boulevard de la Libération and Boulevard d’Alger from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the Fréjus-plage market is held only in the Place de la République. However, you can also find a market in Saint-Aygulf on these days from 8.30am to 12.30pm: Place de la Poste, avenue du Train des Pignes, boulevard Honoré de Balzac and rue M. Perrais.

In addition, three other markets are held at Tour de Mare, Les Arènes and Port-Fréjus every Thursday.

Fréjus night markets

During the summer months, Fréjus’s night markets are a must-see feature of the town as night falls. The atmosphere is great, and the wide variety of products on offer makes them particularly popular.

From 1 July, the stalls will begin to set up at around 7pm in Port-Fréjus. Every evening until 31 August, you’ll be able to discover this market in a pleasant atmosphere. The Fréjus-Plage market extends along the entire seafront and even reaches as far as Saint-Raphaël.

You’ll be able to browse craftspeople and artists, as well as culinary stalls showcasing local specialities. The market will go on until 1am, surrounded by the lively terraces of restaurants, bars and cafés!

Provencal market

Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, the Fréjus Provencal market brings together a wide range of colours from the south in refined, lively stalls. In the picturesque and charming town centre of Fréjus, you can enjoy a wide range of local products, some of them handmade.

Farmers’ market

The Vallée Rose market, which brings together local producers, takes place every morning from Tuesday to Saturday, as well as on Friday afternoons. Its location on the RD37 makes it particularly accessible for anyone looking to buy fresh local produce. You’ll find fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood and many other local products.
