1. Le sentier Blanc-Martel
This 16 km one-way trail, located at La Palud-sur-Verdon in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, takes you up close to the winding Verdon, which winds its way through gorges renowned for their exceptional beauty. Along the way, you’ll pass through forests, through tunnels, along rocky outcrops and pebble beaches, and admire impressive cliffs.

2. Le petit sentier Blanc-Martel
If you prefer a more accessible hike, the Petit sentier Blanc-Martel is a shorter version. This easy trail takes you to the edge of the Verdon in less than 3 hours, with one round trip. Don’t miss the superb Estellier footbridge, which offers a breathtaking view of the Verdon. This is one of the most affordable walks in the region, and several other itineraries surround this circuit.

3. Sentier du Bastidon à la Palud-sur-Verdon
The Bastidon trail lets you touch the Verdon peaks with your fingertips! Located between La Palud-sur-Verdon and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, this aerial trail is right next to the gorges. You’ll leave the cool of the water to follow a ridge trail that offers a unique perspective on the grand canyon. Steep and sometimes vertiginous, this trail requires a good level of fitness, but the spectacular panorama is well worth the effort.

4. Le Grand Margès
The ascent of the Grand Margès is demanding, but well worth the effort. This out-and-back route has the advantage of not requiring a second vehicle. Once at the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Lac de Sainte-Croix, the Issioule crests, the Verdon Gorges, and even the Alps.

This short, easy walk starts from the parking lot opposite Saint-Laurent-de-Verdon castle, just over a kilometer south of La Farigoulette campsite. The route passes through forests, meadows and lavender fields, follows the Verdon, then skirts Lake Artignosc before returning to Saint-Laurent-de-Verdon.

2. Le belvédère de Tréguier
From Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, this short hike is ideal for families with young children who want to discover the Verdon countryside without a long walk. It starts at the village cemetery and climbs gently to the Tréguier belvedere, at 740 m altitude, offering walkers a spectacular view of Lac de Sainte-Croix.

3. Le belvédère de Plein Voir
